This desktop frame is very similar in specs to the Flexispot E5 on their website. Cheaper standing desks use a single motor, but this one has dual motors, which translates to more weight support (up to 220lbs), longer lifespan (each motor doesn't work as hard), and less noise (<50db). Also unlike cheaper standing desks that only have a 2-stage lift, this frame has three telescoping columns for a wider 23.6" to 49.2" range of motion. The controls are simple; there are two buttons for lifting and lowering the frame as well as four memory presets. The steel legs are connected by dual horizontal cross braces to prevent sagging.
Flexispot is well rated for its reliability and build quality. I have owned a Flexispot for a few years and totally love it. In fact, it's right next to a far more expensive Jarvis Fully desk, and they feel amost identical in my not-so-professional opinion. Flexispot covers this product with a 5 year warranty on the frame and motor and a 2 year warranty on just about everything else.
More versatile and potentially less expensive to get your own tabletop
I have three standing desks. One of the standing desks included a desktop, however for the other two desks I sourced my own. For one of them I purchased a massive 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea. For the other one I purchased a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot and finished it myself. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with any of those choices, and there are more options available. The point is, these standing desk bases don't need the desktops sold by the manufacturer. If you want to install your own desktop, by all means do so as long as they are within the weight limitations.
