The High Republic is a recent initiative from Disney to explore a previously unseen era from the Star Wars universe. Set long before the days of the mainline movies, the High Republic era is defined by a powerful Jedi Order and never-before-seen threats to the universe. Disney has made a real push to expand on this era as quickly as possible to get a lot of height. As such, there are a lot of books and comics that have been expanding in this world. One thing noticeably missing, however, is a TV series.
