Ahsoka, the latest live-action Star Wars series to arrive on Disney+, is a continuation of Star Wars Rebels in many respects. Not only did Ahsoka Tano herself previously appear on Rebels, but the series reunites her with Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla and Chopper, all of whom made their Star Wars debut as major characters on the animated series. The first two episodes of Ahsoka also featured a return to Lothal, the planet that served as the Spectres' base of operations and where Sabine chose to remain at the end of Rebels. The Rebels finale teased Sabine's eventual departure from Lothal, a moment that was revisited on Ahsoka.
