For a very limited time, Amazon is offering a huge 30% price drop on the LEGO Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 42143 race car set. It's currently priced at $314.99 (originally $450), or about 8 cents per brick. This is LEGO's second-largest Technic race car model by brick count. It was released back in 2022, so we expect LEGO to retire the set sometime in early-to-mid 2025, after which the price will go up significantly. We expect this deal to expire before Prime Day.

This set is a faithful 1:8 replica of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 concept car, decked out in Ferrari's iconic red color scheme. The car measures an impressive 24" long, 10" wide, and 6" high, so you'll definitely need a space for it. It's comprised of 3,778 pieces, which is the second-largest Technic race car and sixth-largest Technic set overall. Standout features include a V12 engine, 8-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifter with working steering and functional shock absorbers, a detachable roof to convert the car into a targa, chrome painted rims, opening butterfly doors, and more.
Like all large Technic builds, this set is marketed for ages 18+, which is justifiable considering the number of bricks relative to the scale of the model and the intrinsic difficulty of Technic pieces. Discounts on standard bearer models like these are few and far between, and they're usually limited to a small number of units. This set in particular is expected to be discontinued sometime next year, after which you'll be paying well over the retail price of $450. If you're a LEGO Technic vehicle collector, this is an obvious must-add to your collection.
