With the Mortal Kombat 1 reboot due soon, fans are already champing at the bit to sink their teeth into what's widely expected to be the fighting game of the year. From all the content dropped so far -- cinematic trailers and gameplay -- it does feel like Ed Boon and the creative team at NetherRealm Studios are on track to achieve this accolade.
