After a delay due to the writers' strike, Stranger Things fifth and final season is now officially in production. To celebrate the moment, Netflix also released a photo of the cast back on set.
While we didn't learn anything more about the much-anticipated season, this news marks a big milestone for the series that first began in 2016.
As for the photo, which you can see below, it includes Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Amybeth McNulty, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson, Linda Hamilton, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Ross Duffer, Matt Duffer, Finn Wolfhard, and Sadie Sink.
Yes, if you missed the news, The Terminator's Linda Hamilton joined the cast back in June 2023 and this is our first look at her with the rest of the team. We still don't know anything about her character, however.
Netflix also previously revealed the very first lines of Season 5's script and that the first episode will be called "Chapter One: The Crawl."
As previously mentioned, the production of Stranger Things' fifth and final season was meant to start last year, but the writers' strike brought everything to a halt.
"Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins," The Duffer Brothers wrote. "While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then -- over and out. #wgastrong"
