Disney revealed some big release date news today, dating The Mandalorian & Grogu, Toy Story 5, and Tron: Ares while delaying the live-action Moana by a year.
The moves carve out what's shaping up to be a busy summer 2026 for Disney, with The Mandalorian & Grogu set for May 22, 2026. Toy Story 5 will come out about a month later on June 19, 2026. Moana has been moved from June 27, 2025, to July 10, 2026.
Tron: Ares, meanwhile, will debut on October 20, 2025. The studio also dated Nightbitch, which stars Amy Adams as a woman who "becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine," for a limited release on December 6, 2024.
