In the inaugural arc of Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs Image Comics' series Local Man, ex-superhero Jack Xavier proved you can go home again when he returned to the small town he escaped as a teenager in order to pursue a life as the superhero known as Crossjack. Returning to Farmington, Wisconsin, has meant dealing with the people he let down, like his parents and ex-girlfriend, Inga, and the mistakes he made as a costumed crime fighter, which followed him home. It's also given him a shot at redemption because the first arc ended with Jack assuming a new heroic identity, that of the titular Local Man, and solving a murder.
