Netflix's Geeked Week is back for 2023 and promises updates from our most-anticipated shows, reveals of new projects, and so much more. So far, we've been treated to the first trailer and release date for the live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Arcane's second season's November 2024 release window, and the first few words of Stranger Things' fifth and final season's script.

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender Finally Gets First Teaser and Release Date

Netflix has finally revealed the first trailer and release date for its "live-action reimagining" of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The series will arrive on Netflix on February 22, 2024, and the footage was packed with treats for fans of the series, including looks at Ba Sing Se, the Fire Nation, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Appa, Momo, Suki, bending, and so much more.

Arcane Season 2 to Debut in November 2024

Netflix and Riot Games confirmed that the second season of Arcane, the League of Legends animated series, will be released in November 2024.

We didn't learn too much else about the the new season that will bring back Hailee Steinfeld's Vi, Ella Purnell's Jinx, and Katie Leung's Caitlyn Kiramman, but Netflix did share a striking teaser with Jinx walking across a bridge!

Stranger Things Writers Reveal Glimpse of Season 5 Script, Sparking Fan Theories

While we didn't get too much from Stranger Things' much anticipated fifth and final season, Netflix did share the very first lines of the script for its first episode.

"DARKNESS," the script reads. "The sound of COLD WIND. GROANING TREES. And... A CHILD'S VOICE. Singing a familiar song."

This has already sparked a ton of fan theories online, including that this may mean we'll be getting a flashback of Will in the Upside Down or that the song may be Should I Stay or Should I Go.

Stranger Things: The First Shadow Featurette Reveals a Key Detail About Vecna's Origin Story

Stranger Things Day and the first day of Geeked Week revealed a new featurette for its upcoming play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow. This play looks to tell the story of Henry Creel (who eventually becomes One, who eventually becomes Vecna) and Patty Newby, the sister of fan-favorite Season 2 character Bob Newby.

There's one particular detail we couldn't help but take notice of in this, and you can read all about it here as we don't want to potentially spoil those who don't want it!

New Jurassic World Animated Series, Chaos Theory, Gets Ferocious First Look

Netflix is getting a brand-new Jurassic World animated series in 2024, and it looks to star an older Darius Bowman and the T-Rex Big Eatie from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. The new series is called Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, and Netflix also shared its official logline so fans can get an idea as to what this show is all about;

"After the park has closed, after the kingdom has fallen, a new era of chaos begins... Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is coming to Netflix in 2024."

Ultraman Rising First Trailer Has Ken Sato Becoming an Ultradad to a Baby Kaiju

Netflix released the first trailer for Ultraman Rising, and it features our favorite baseball superstar Ken Sato becoming a dad to a Kaiju baby. We see Ken holding the creature's egg as it hatches, and it then thinks Ken is his their parent when they break free.

According to Netflix's official synopsis, Ultraman Rising will see Ken returning to Japan to pick up the mantle of Ultraman and finding "more than he bargained for as he's forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe."
