Before the release of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Miles Morales was an unknown commodity to general Marvel fans, although the comic-book reading fans knew a lot about him. His recent introduction in 2011 meant he hadn't yet racked up as many supervillains as his predecessor.
