After George Lucas concluded his Star Wars prequel trilogy, LucasFilm released Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a series set between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The show, which lasted for seven seasons, explored the Clone Wars themselves, following Jedi and clone troopers as they traveled around the galaxy to fight the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Here, the show runners built up the clones as the heart and soul of this time period.
