While the original Ultimate Marvel Universe transformed plenty of classic characters into dark, tormented versions of their usual selves, most of them were still able to achieve many of the same heights that fans have come to expect. Unfortunately, there were some who seemed utterly incapable of living up to their potential in this once brave new world. Whereas this may not have been any big surprise when it came to the likes of Hank Pym or Doctor Strange, the fact that it also happens to be the case with Carol Danvers stands as the most shocking disappointment of them all.
