Apple's next hardware event will take place on September 12.
The event, which has the tagline "Wonderlust," will be held both in-person (invite-only) at Apple's Campus in Cupertino, California, and will be streamed online on YouTube and Apple's official website. As with previous events Apple has remained silent on what will be revealed at its next product launch event, though odds are high that the forthcoming showcase will be headlined by the iPhone 15.
Previous reports and rumors for the iPhone 15 suggest that it will be the first phone to ditch the Lightning port in favor of USB-C. Apple previously confirmed last year that it would put a USB-C port on its smartphones, at least for countries in the European Union, after a new EU law was passed that mandates all smartphones, tablets, and cameras with a physical charger to use USB-C by 2024.
Reports also suggest that the standard iPhone 15 models will finally get Dynamic Island, the new display cutout introduced in the Pro models of the iPhone 14 last year. While the iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to have thinner bezels and a titanium frame.
In addition to iPhones, will likely see some new Apple Watches at the next event.
