Percy Jackson and the Olympians comes over a decade after 20th Century Studios began its first attempt at adapting Rick Riordan's beloved fantasy series. The upcoming Disney+ series promises to be more faithful to the books than the much-maligned original adaptation, in part by adapting a multi-season structure that allows each book to be explored throughout an eight-episode season.
