A behind-the-scenes featurette has revealed the briefest of glimpses of what Agatha: Darkhold Diaries could look like.
The video emerged online courtesy of Agents of Fandom on X/Twitter, and comes with the Blu-ray of WandaVision Season 1 that will be officially released tomorrow. In it, we get some brief footage of Agatha in a new get-up, a first look at Joe Locke's character and a couple new cast members, and more while star Kathryn Hahn and the show's creatives reveal a little more.

"I started talking to Marvel about developing something else, so we had early conversations about 'what could that be?'... Everything I pitched included a storyline about Agatha," head writer/executive producer Jac Shaeffer says in the video. "I remember Kevin [Feige] saying to me, 'We really should think about an actual Agatha show,' and I was like, 'Where do I sign for that job?'"
Hahn, of course, debuted as Agatha in WandaVision, where she quickly became a fan-favorite - thanks in no small part to her absolute earworm of a theme "Agatha All Along" (songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will be back to write more songs for Darkhold Diaries). Hahn admits that she was "flabbergasted" by the positive response to her antagonist in WandaVision.
"There would be nothing more delicious to Agatha Harkness than to be in a spinoff," Hahn says. "The whole thing made total sense to me... to be playing a witch in the MCU is amazing.

We don't know too much about the WandaVision spinoff as of right now, other than the fact that it'll obviously follow Hahn's Agatha and also feature Locke, Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili. Emma Caulfield and Debra Jo Rupp will also be reprising their WandaVision roles.
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries was originally set to release in winter 2023; however, following two Hollywood strikes and countless release date shake-ups, it's now expected to debut sometime next fall.
