Fall of X has wrecked the mutants of Krakoa, driving them from their island home and scattering them to the winds. Orchis's initial attack on the Hellfire Gala cost some mutants their lives and some mutants their self-respect, but all of them suffered. A group of mutants led by Magik and Dani Moonstar found themselves in Otherworld realm of Vanaheim, who are the stars of the book Realms of X.
