At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Cygames revealed a release date for its action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, which will release on February 1 for PC, PS5, and PS4.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink was originally supposed to release this winter, but as the Gamescom ONL trailer revealed, the game has been pushed back into early next year. The project was originally announced at Tokyo Game Show 2016 and is based on the franchise Granblue Phantasy.
The development of Granblue Fantasy: Relink has been complicated as the project was originally a collaboration between Cygames and Bayonetta developer Platinum Games, but in 2019, it was revealed that the two developers parted ways.
Along with a firm release date for Granblue Fantasy: Relink, we got a handful of announcements from this year's Gamescom Opening Night Live. For more on what was revealed, check out our everything announced roundup.
