When news broke that Kamala Khan, better known as Ms. Marvel, was destined to suffer an untimely demise in the pages of Marvel Comics, fans were immediately incensed by the prospect of her death for a myriad of reasons. Apart from questions over whether her death wasn't actually a set dressing in another hero's story, there were obvious concerns regarding how impactful it could be when it was clear Ms. Marvel would soon return.
