Saw X is the most recent entry in the franchise and has already been praised as one of the best entries, receiving positive reviews from Saw fans and movie critics alike. This homecoming of the iconic villain John Kramer and his memorable, but murderous, associate Amanda Young in this prequel story that occurs between the events of Saw and Saw II is a return to form for the infamous Jigsaw and the use of his "games" that allow his victims to decide if they have the willingness to survive. Directed by Kevin Greutert (who previously directed two other Saw movies), Saw X takes its torturous traps to Mexico, where a group of medical associates, led by Dr. Cecilia Pederson, offer an experimental treatment that is found out to be nothing more than an elaborate scam. It is also where John Kramer decides to set up his next game, as these con artists must be tested for their wrongdoing.
