In 2022, Peacemaker became the latest in a long line of TV pop culture phenomenons. The series stars John Cena in the titular role as the deadly Christopher Smith, a hero so devoted to peace that there's no amount of violence he won't commit to achieve it. Peacemaker, along with his friend, Vigilante, and a team of Task Force X operatives under Amanda Waller, fought an alien invasion in the first season. After the ringing success of the show, a second season is on the way.
