Heroes creator Tim Kring is seeking a second revival of his hit 2006 superhero series with Heroes: Eclipsed, which he is currently pitching to potential buyers, reports Deadline.

Heroes: Eclipsed will reportedly be set years after the events of the original series and feature new heroes, plus new and familiar villains. No casting information has been discussed. The outline of the series sounds similar to Kring’s previous Heroes follow-up, the 2015 limited series Heroes Reborn. It too was set years after the events of the original series and introduced a new set of characters.

Heroes initially aired for four season between 2006 and 2010. It received a string of awards and nominations, particularly for its acclaimed and high-rating debut season.

On the less warmly-received Heroes Reborn, Kring noted at the time that they approached the series with the gap in production clearly in mind.

“We thought about this, not as Season 5,” Kring told IGN in 2015. “We actually thought about it as Season 10. We had five years off and this is where we would be had we gone all the way. That allowed us to have some sort of continuum.”
