Secret Invasion has officially wrapped up its run on Disney+, marking the first series in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The limited series, which adapts the classic 2008 Marvel Comics storyline of the same name, revealed that the shape shifting Skrulls had infiltrated Earth decades ago. Forced to take care of this problem without the help of the Avengers, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and a few key allies embarked on a paranoid thriller that ultimately didn't live up to its comic book counterpart.
