Chapter 1088 of One Piece concludes Garp's eventful siege at Fullalead. The vice admiral leads a handful of young and idealistic Marine officers to save the captured legend of the Marines -- Captain Koby. Garp fends off the horde of pirates, while Grus and the others evacuate the prisoners and civilians. Unfortunately, Koby is tricked by a pirate, allowing Shiryu to sneak attack him. Garp intervenes just in time, though he took the brunt of the attack. But even after suffering an injury and still fatigued with his duel with Kuzan, Garp continues to hold off the Blackbeard Pirates. Meanwhile, Koby, Grus and Helmeppo head to stop Pizzaro Avalo.
