All Totem of Revelations piece locations in Avowed

The Totem of Revelations is one of Avowed’s four god totems — collectibles that grant boons based on how many pieces you find. The Totem of Revelations is the god totem for the Shatterscarp region.

All seven fragments of the Totem of Revelations are hidden around Shatterscarp and its capital, Thirdborn. As soon as you find one piece of the totem (or purchase the “Fragments of the Eyes” key item from Cinzia at the Dead Swordfish in Thirdborn), you’ll receive a quest to find and complete the Eyes of the Obscured. The quest, however, is full of cryptic riddles.

Here’s where to find all Totem of Revelations pieces in Shatterscarp in Avowed, and what bonuses you’ll receive upon completing the totem.

All Totem of Revelations locations in Avowed

There are seven pieces of the Totem of Revelations scattered around Shatterscarp.

To start reconstructing the totem, you’ll need to find the totem’s base (the Wael totem base), which we’ve labeled as number one in the map above. Once you’ve placed the totem’s base at the totem shrine in the party camp, you can add the totem’s fragments (numbers two through seven on the map) to gain powerful buffs. Each god totem grants up to six buffs — including bonuses to your attribute points — but you can only have one god totem active at a time.

Before searching for the totem pieces, we recommend turning on the “Compass – God Shrine Totem Pieces” setting at the bottom of the UI menu. Turning on this setting will make god totem pieces visible on your compass, and make it slightly easier to pinpoint their exact location in-game.

Totem of Defiance base location (#1)

The Totem Base can be found inside the cave at the Shrine to Wael.

To find the Totem Base, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Ancient Lakebed South Beacon.
2. Follow the path to the west and head to the southwestern corner of Shatterscarp to find the entrance to the Shrine to Wael.
3. Follow the path by jumping across the broken terrain to enter the Shrine to Wael.
4. Continue through the cave until you reach an open room with the Totem Base on an altar.

Before heading to another destination, you should grab the Ruby Eye, as it’s extremely close by.

Ruby Eye location (#2)

The Ruby Eye can be found on a ridge at the end of the Shrine to Wael.

To find the Ruby Eye, follow these steps:

1. After picking up the totem’s base, head down the ramp and turn to the left to find the another path in the cave.
2. Continue along the path until you reach an area that leads outside.
3. Interact with the Ward of the Eye and receive permission to collect the Ruby Eye.
4. Collect the Ruby Eye on the floor.

Amethyst Eye location (#3)

The Amethyst Eye can be found on a rock beside the Mourning Thirdborn in the Ancient Lakebed.

To find the Amethyst Eye, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Ancient Lakebed South Beacon.
2. Follow the path to the west until the path forks off towards two ponds to the north.
3. Take the northern path and head underneath the arching rock wall.
4. Collect the Amethyst Eye on top of a rock near the Mourning Thirdborn.

Sapphire Eye location (#4)

The Sapphire Eye can be found at at the bottom of the lake in the Sand Sea Oasis.

To find the Sapphire Eye, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Sand Sea Oasis Beacon on the eastern side of Shatterscarp.
2. Dive into the lake to find the Sapphire Eye in a sunken coffin.

Agate Eye location (#5)

The Agate Eye can be found at the Sand Sea Ruins on the eastern side of Shatterscarp.

To find the Agate Eye, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Shark’s Mouth Beacon.
2. Head southwest towards the Sand Sea Ruins.
3. Go up the stairs on the left side of the ruins’ entrance, and follow the path on the right.
4. Climb the ladder and turn to the right to find wooden platforms leading to a higher level.
5. Climb the platforms to the higher level and continue along the path to the next building.
6. Head to the other side of the large hole in the floor and drop onto the platform below.
7. Enter the lit room on the second floor to find the Agate Eye on the stone table.

Emerald Eye location (#6)

The Emerald Eye can be found beside the Hoarder’s Note at the top of an incomplete statue in Shark’s Teeth.

To find the Emerald Eye, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Sharks Teeth Party Camp.
2. Cross the bridge to the southeast to find an incomplete statue on your right.
3. Climb to the top of the statue by mantling onto the scaffolding.
4. Collect the Emerald Eye beside the Hoarder’s Note.

Topaz Eye location (#7)

The Topaz Eye can be found at the Leviathan’s Hollow in the northwestern region of Shatterscarp.

To find the Topaz Eye, follow these steps:

1. Travel to the Deadfall Highlands Party Camp.
2. Follow the path to the north and enter the Xaurip camp.
3. Dive into the water in the Leviathan skull’s mouth and resurface onto the ramp ahead of you.
4. Climb up the wooden platforms.
5. Go up the stairs on the right to find a set of stairs on your left.
6. Go down the stairs to find the Topaz Eye on a stone table beside a corpse.

All Totem of Revelations bonuses

Once you have all of the Totem of Revelations pieces, head to the Totem Shrine at your party camp and reassemble the Eyes of the Obscured. Activate the totem to receive the following buffs:

• Fickle Winds: Critical hits deal high random accumulation
• Disappearing Trick: Second Wind casts Shadowing Beyond
• Magic in the Blood: Restoring Essence also restores a small amount of health
• Sight Beyond Eyes: +5% Critical Hit Chance
• Enigmatic Shield: Activating a level 15 or level 20 ability grants +5% damage reduction for 10 seconds
• The Obscured’s Vantage: +2 Intellect, +2 Perception
