J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series are fantastic, whether you are a fan of the LoTR books, films, or audiobooks (I just got done listening to the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy on audiobook, which I highly recommend).

Is It Worth Buying At This Price?
While the Lord of the Rings will always speak more to me than the Hobbit or the Silmarillion, it is undoubtedly still a great work of fiction. Illustrated versions, like this one, have always been my favorites, but the standard price of $195 would still be too rich for my blood. At $57.50, however, I think it's a steal. This is the best way to read the prequel.
