While the lines between hero and villain in the Marvel Universe have often been clearly defined, the space in between has just as often posed the kind of existential questions that many aren't willing to consider. When it comes to that particularly polarizing kind of worldview, there are few if any who have embodied it to the same degree as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. This makes it all the more surprising that in the timeline of the X-Men's infamous Days of Future Past, Ross has finally found his heart.
