Like many great fantasy shows, Shadow and Bone drew fans in with its detailed, expansive world. Aside from the conflict between the Grisha and non-powered people, there were also multiple countries at war with each other and fascinating locales around the globe. The Shadow and Bone map was prominently featured in both seasons, helping fans visualize where the different sets of characters were in relation to each other at various points throughout the story. It was also an effective way to show the true scope of the adventure, with Mal, Alina and the Crows traveling great distances on their respective journeys. As such, it's no surprise that newcomers to the Grishaverse would want to know more about the setting.
