As Season 5 of What We Do in the Shadows rolled on, the series felt more self-contained than ever. There weren't cameos, sprawling road trips and such, with the story focusing on key beats. Granted, the secret vampiric council that Colin Robinson met with Evie had new faces. But most major beats were confined to the main cast: such as Guillermo becoming a vampire and hiding the truth from Nandor.
