Multiplayer mech battler MECHA Break got a new trailer at Summer Game Fest today, alongside an announcement of an upcoming beta test in August for players to try the game out ahead of release.
In addition to the trailer, we also learned that notable mecha artists Takayuki Yanase (Metal Gear, Gundam, Armored Core, Death Stranding) and Junya Ishigaki (Xenogears, Gundam, Macross) were a part of the design team for some of the mechs in MECHA Break.
We got a taste of the closed alpha for MECHA Break back in January, where we learned that contrary to the look of its initial reveal, MECHA Break is a multiplayer-only game, with three different game modes planned and the stylings of a mech anime: there's a 3v3 Arena mode, a 6v6 Battlefield mode, and then a PvEvP mode for up to 60 players. The mechs themselves are fully customizable down to individual parts, guns, and color schemes.
