The 32" 4K QD OLED 240Hz panel from Samsung was first unveiled during CES 2024. Previous it was nearly impossible to find a 4K OLED panel in the 32" size... you had to get a much larger monitor like a 42" or higher to get that 4K resolution. A number of manufacturers have announced upcoming monitors that will utilize this technology, but only a few have actually delivered on that promise so far. The Alienware AW3225QF is one such monitor, and it is generally considered one of the best gaming monitors you can get right now.
The Alienware AW3225QF is a 32" monitor with a 3840x2160 true 4K resolution, 1700R curved panel, 240Hz refresh rate, and G-SYNC compatibility. Quantum dot, or "QD", OLED panels are brighter and offer richer colors than traditional OLED panels without losing the incredible black levels and near instantaneous response time that OLEDs are known for. The AW3225QF boasts a 99.3% DCI-P3 color range and is factory calibrated with a Delta E less than 2. It is HDR True Black 400 certified with up to 1,000nits of peak brightness. It also supports Dolby Vision HDR. Connectivity wise, the AW3225QF has two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC) and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, all of which are capable of 4K at up to 240Hz. There are also a couple of USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for attaching peripherals and a single USB Type-C port for charging.
I personally use the Alienware AW3225QF as my main monitor, both for work and for gaming, and it's a nice upgrade from my converted LG OLED TV. It's definitely the best monitor I've owned.
