Skybound's Transformers comic book series is already off to a great start in terms of updating the '80s franchise while keeping things in a fairly traditional state. This can be seen in how it handles the Autobots' human allies, though the Transformers themselves are also taking on some fitting changes. With the most iconic Transformer of them all, however, the comic embraces his most classic and fatherly elements.
