It’s no exaggeration to say that the Steam Deck is my favorite gaming device of all time. Look, I have nothing but love for my yellowing SNES or the Xbox 360 in storage in my basement. My PS5 is a powerful machine that delivers crisp 4K visuals, and my Switch provides the delights only Nintendo can whip up in its phenomenal software. But the Steam Deck? With its perfect mix of power and portability, it fits my dad lifestyle better than any other platform. It’s a great handheld gaming PC on its own, but a few additions go a long way toward making it even better. And thanks to Prime Day, you can save some cash while picking up some of the best Steam Deck accessories.
1TB MicroSD Card for $67.88 (48% Off)
Anyone who’s agonized over which Steam Deck version to get knows that Valve charges an arm and a leg for extra onboard storage space. Regardless of which model you choose, adding more storage is usually a no-brainer. This 1TB microSD card adds a ton of space at a near all-time low price.

65W Baseus Power Bank for $36.10 (61% Off)
If there's one universal drawback to the Steam Deck, it's the battery life when playing resource-hungry games. While the OLED model offers more playtime, you can't go wrong by adding a power bank to your to-go bag. Enter promo code N4W8A2FE and this one drops to less than half price for Prime Day.

Jsaux Steam Deck Dock for $31.99 (20% Off)
I have this dock, and it works great for charging my Steam Deck and for playing games on the TV when the mood strikes. A docked Steam Deck isn’t as user-friendly as a Switch, but it definitely has its uses.
Jsaux Steam Deck Screen Protector for $7.99 (20% Off)
We’ve all had it happen to a device before: you look at it one day and see a scratch in the screen. It’s a nightmare, because you’ll always see that scratch every time you use your Steam Deck from then on. It's kind of a pain, but the best way to prevent scratches is to apply a screen protector. This one is from Jsaux, a reliable company, and it comes with two protectors, in case one gets scratched.
CRKD Gear Bag for $39.99 (20% Off)
For many people, the case that comes with the Steam Deck will suit you just fine. But if you find it useful to bring along other stuff when you go out, you might want a bigger carrying case to store everything in. This gear bag from CRKD is great. It has a velcro strap to secure your device, plus plenty of space for a mouse, external battery, dock, or whatever else you want to bring.
Steam Deck Tool Kit for $23.78 (15% Off)
I don’t recommend cracking open your Steam Deck unless you have experience rooting through your electronic devices already. But if you’re going to do so, to upgrade your SSD, replace your thumb sticks, or whatever, this screwdriver set will let you in. Just make sure you remove your microSD card first, or you’ll snap that thing in half. And for the record, you’ll need Phillips #1 (PH1) and Phillips #0 (PH0) screwdrivers to crack open your Deck to make any changes.
Steam Deck SSDs for $75.99 (34% Off)
Once you have your Steam Deck open, you can swap in a new SSD. This is a more affordable way to boost your storage than paying Valve for the increase. But again, I’d advise against tinkering with your Deck unless you have some experience cracking things open. You might damage the device, and then you can’t play anything, which would be a travesty.
