The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in a state of flux as the next few phases begin to take shape on screen. While the previous phase was entirely experimental in putting all the new players in place post-Avengers: Endgame, there's a lot more work that needs to be done to scale up the universe without audiences becoming fatigued by superhero content. The Multiverse Saga is the key arc that the next slate of releases will pivot around, as the familiar heroes of Earth-616 begin to interact more with those characters from alternate dimensions that fans may have seen in the past.
