Since acquiring the DC license several years ago, McFarlane Toys has been exploring the breadth and depth of the DC Universe. Naturally, that includes a lot of Batman figures. But at Comic-Con today, Todd McFarlane revealed what is easily the company's most impressive Batman set to date, dubbed Batman: The Ultimate Movie Collection 6-Pack.
IGN can exclusively debut the first promo images for this massive set, which includes 7-inch scale figures of every live-action, cinematic incarnation of the Dark Knight from Michael Keaton to Robert Pattinson. Get a closer look in the slideshow gallery below:
The six figures included in this set are:
- Michael Keaton from 1989's Batman
- Val Kilmer from 1995's Batman Forever
- George Clooney from 1997's Batman & Robin
- Christian Bale from 2008's The Dark Knight
- Ben Affleck from 2017's Justice League
- Robert Pattinson from 2022's The Batman
All six figures come packaged inside an exclusive box and include art cards and display bases. The set even comes with a light-up Bat-Signal that includes interchangeable plates to match the different films.
While some of these Batman figures have been released individually in the past, both the Kilmer and Clooney figures are exclusive to the 6-pack, and the Keaton Batman is currently only available as an Amazon-exclusive bundle with the Batmobile. In short, if your a Bat-completionist, you'll want to own this set.
"For any Batman collector, or heck, any action figure collector, being able to get a large handful of some of the most memorable Batmans from his cinematic history... played by some of Hollywood's best talent, and all of them in one huge box, well, who would be excited?" McFarlane tells IGN. "Rarely, does it make sense to do such a large array of the same character in the same box/packaging but this one deserves all the attention that I hope the fans will give it. Warner Bros. Consumer Products has allowed us to do this wonderful item that should be a 'have to get' item for so many. Plus, it's just really damn cool."
The Batman: The Ultimate Movie Collection 6-Pack is priced at $119.99. Preorders will open at select retailers on Friday, July 21 at 9am PT.
