Prime Video has finally shared the first official, full trailer for the highly anticipated TV series Fallout ahead of its premiere next month.

In the trailer, which you can check out below, we see Lucy, played by actress Ella Purnell, leave the comfort of Vault 33 to venture off into a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. In a fish-out-of-water situation, Purnell encounters the harsh reality of living on the surface hundreds of years after a nuclear war, from getting robbed to near-death experiences.

The trailer is packed with references to Bethesda's role-playing series, such as the Vault Boy Bobblehead that appears several times throughout the trailer, and several snippets of the well-known faction, The Brotherhood of Steel. Creatures such as the Yao guai and what appears to be a mutated Axolotl, an enemy that was part of the concept art for Fallout 3, are also briefly shown.

Though the upcoming series is not based on any of the Fallout video games, executive producer Jonathan Nolan has described the Fallout TV show as "a non-interactive version" of Fallout 5.

More surprisingly, Amazon revealed towards the end of the trailer that all episodes from the first season of the Fallout TV Show will drop on April 11 exclusively on Prime Video. For more on the Fallout TV show, check out the new character posters that dropped earlier this week.
