David Goyer and Guillermo del Toro are powerhouses in their respective superhero and science fiction genres. With Goyer as the writer and del Toro as the director, they were allegedly slated to create a Jabba the Hut spinoff film. It was during the time of the Rouge One and Solo era when Star Wars fans were treated with standalone prequel films. Unfortunately, even though Goyer had already written the script, the Jabba the Hut movie was scrapped.
