Ridley Scott's Napoleon is officially arriving on Apple TV+ on March 1, 2024.

Apple Original Films shared the news on X/Twitter with a very fitting clip of Joaquin Phoenix's Napoleon being reunited with the soldiers of the Fifth Regiment and reminiscing about going home. Soon, the film that was financed and produced by Apple Studios will be home on Apple TV+.

Napoleon was first released in theaters on November 22, 2023, and, per Box Office Mojo, earned $61.5 million in North America and $219.8 million worldwide during its run. It also made the jump to premium video-on-demand and digital purchase on January 9, 2024.

In our Napoleon review, we said, "As a historical epic, Napoleon is handsome but a little impersonal – you can really feel the absence of texture lost in getting it down under three hours. But between the textbook bullet points, a very funny anti-Great Man biopic peeks through, thanks largely to Joaquin Phoenix’s performance as a Bonaparte who’s more boy than man.

Scott had said in the past that Apple TV+ would be getting a four-hour director's cut of Napoleon, but there is no mention of that with this announcement, so it could be coming at a later date.
