Marvel's Secret Invasion on Disney+ has taken a very different approach to the comic book material, that fits better with the Marvel Cinematic Universe's lore. However, the aliens known as the Skrulls have changed throughout the course of comic history as well. Their own mythos has evolved to cater to new stories and to ensure that they are still interesting as antagonists.
