Bill Hader's innovative dark comedy Barry included a fitting end for everyone - even Funches. However, that almost wasn't the case for one of the HBO series' best characters. NoHo Hank played an important role in Barry, often serving as a key part of the titular character's crime connections. After Hank lost the love of his life, Cristobal Sifuentes, he died in the series finale "wow." Hader, who wrote and directed the finale, made a choice to poetically have Hank die at the foot of a Cristobal statue, holding his lost love's hand. But that beautiful and solitary moment was almost completely different.
