Samsung's Deal of the Day today is the 32" Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 4K Mini-LED QLED gaming monitor for only $449.99, a huge 60% price drop from its original $100 MSRP. The 32" Neo G7 boasts a razor sharp 4K resolution, a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and a QLED Mini-LED panel for outstanding black levels and contrast ratio. We ranked this as our top 4K HDR gaming monitor of 2024, and that's at the $1100 price point. At $450, it's an outstanding deal for someone who wants a gaming monitor that's a cut above the rest.

32" Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 4K Mini-LED Gaming Monitor

The specs on this 32" Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor include a true 4K (3840x2160) resolution, 1000R curve, up to 165Hz refresh rate, and a quantum dot Mini-LED panel. The 32" 4K panel features a pixel density of 137ppi, which is plenty sharp for a PC monitor, both for gaming and for general purpose tasks. The 16:9 aspect ratio is far more useful than the ultra-wide or super ultra-wide monitors that are in vogue these days, thanks to the more vertical real estate.

The Neo G7 uses Mini LEDs paired with a quantum dot panel. The quantum dot technology allows for brighter and richer color saturation, and Mini LEDs offer even more precise local dimming than traditional full array LED dimming because the controller zones are smaller and more numerous. OLED monitors are its only real competition, and OLEDs come with their own faults. The Neo G7 boasts a peak brightness of 2000 nits, which is far higher than any OLED monitor. It also doesn't suffer from any burn-in issues, which is a real problem for any and all OLED panels.

The Neo G7 also has plenty of other gaming-centric features, like a fast 1ms GtG response time, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification (it's also G-SYNC compatible). It has both HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, so you can also hook up your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X consoles and get 4K @ 120Hz gameplay. The stand includes swivel, tilt, pivot, and height adjustments and even has fancy LED backlighting.

Note that this is a Samsung "Deal of the Day," it might expire at the end of the day.
