Netflix’s new dark animated adventure, Nocturne, is proving extremely popular among fans of its parent series, Castlevania. Nocturne centers around Richter Belmont, sole survivor of the elite Belmont clan, and his group of allies as they contend against Countess Erzsebet Bathory, a self-proclaimed vampire Messiah with the potential to end the world as they know it. As it happens, Erzsebet Bathory’s ultimate plan in Nocturne turned out to be the perfected version of the scheme Carmilla introduced in Season 3 of Castlevania.
