One of the most intriguing aspects of The Last Voyage of the Demeter is how it makes big changes to Bram Stoker's story. It adapts a relatively short chapter from the novel about the ship bringing Dracula, his soil and coffin over to England. In the process, it fleshes out the crew a lot more, adding in people for Dracula to fight and kill.
