Want to make your money go further, have some savings on top of savings? Of course you do. Days of Play has brought our favourite hack back to life, because range of PlayStation Store giftcards are discounted by 15% on ShopTo at the moment.

The hack is like so: You head to ShopTo and pick up one of the giftcards at a discount, let's use the £100 giftcard as an example. You buy that card worth £100 for just £85. You redeem it on the PS Store, and you can now get £100 worth of discounted games in the Days of Play sale for just £85. Pretty nifty.

The discount isn't just on the £100 cards though, all of the giftcards on ShopTo are int he offer. For example: the £70 card is £59.50, the £50 card is £42.50, and the £40 card is £34.

ICYMI: Sony State of Play May 2024

There's a lot heading to PlayStation 5 owners in the coming year. The rumors are true: Team Asobi is working on a new Astro Bot game, and we don't have to wait too long for it, as the developer unveiled that its next project is out on September 6, exclusively for the PS5.

Titled Astro Bot, Team Asobi's next project debuted an adorable gameplay trailer and explained in a PS Blog post that players will explore over 80 levels spanning six galaxies as they look for Astro's missing crew.

There's also another first-party PlayStation project is on its way to PC. This time, it's Sony Santa Monica's 2022 action game God of War Ragnarok, which will arrive on PC on September 19.

God of War Ragnarok's PC version will include the Valhalla DLC, and PC-centric features such as support for ultrawide monitors, unlocked frame rates, and supersampling techs like DLSS and FSR.

After the State of Play, a PlayStation Blog post revealed that players must have a PlayStation Network account to play the PC version of God of War Ragnarok. This decision may be polarizing for some, as Sony was under fire for mandating a PSN account for PC versions of Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut. However, the former escaped the PSN requirement after public outcry.
