The Fall of the House of Usher is a new horror limited series on Netflix by Mike Flanagan, but it's not as simple as an adaptation of the eponymous short story. The show is inspired by many of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories and poems. Fans of Mike Flanagan's previous horror work likely won't be surprised by this melding of stories or the show's modern setting either, as Flanagan tends to take popular horror stories and remix them for fresh takes on old favorites.
