Few comic book characters have had as many live-action depictions as Batman, and there's always debate online regarding the best version. The last decade alone has seen three different actors take on the role, with Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson all donning the cape and cowl for different visions. The Batman marked the debut of Pattinson as the latest onscreen interpretation of the Dark Knight. The project was initially set to star Affleck, but after the actor departed the project as its writer and director, Warner Bros. tapped Reeves to reboot the character once more.
