The Krakoa Era saw the X-Men and their greatest enemies team-up to create a mutant nation on the living mutant island of Krakoa. This opened up a lot of new story potential, but it also took away a brilliant rogues gallery of antagonists. However, Jonathan Hickman, the writer who came up with the Krakoa Era concept, gave mutants a new enemy - the Orchis Initiative, an organization made up of members of every secret organization out there. The organization also had a group of powerful leaders, like Nimrod, Omega Sentinel, Doctor Stasis, Feilong, and more.
