The penultimate Season 4 episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks finally offers some clarity on who is inside the mysterious ship plaguing the galaxy. Mostly seen in short vignettes with Klingon, Orion and other lower deckers, the ship was seemingly destroying these crews. However, Starfleet learned the ship was actually capturing the crew instead. It captured Beckett Mariner who ran into an old Starfleet Academy friend, Nick Locarno.
