The Star Wars franchise is branching out to new and exciting locations, even some outside of the main galaxy. The recent Disney+ series Ahsoka finally stepped outside of the mainline Star Wars galaxy for the first time, taking its characters to the distant world of Peridea to retrieve the long-lost Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn. This major step has endless implications for the future of Star Wars, including the potential introduction of an alien race long thought lost in Star Wars Legends, the Yuuzhan Vong.
