The season finale of Strange New Worlds ended where most fans expected after the season premiere Gorn tease. However, continuity issues aside, some Star Trek fans say the depiction of the Gorn threat misses the point of the episode of The Original Series which introduced them. It's a fair complaint. Strange New Worlds, or a future series, should evolve the Gorn like the Borg in Star Trek: Picard Season 2.
