As part of the lead-up to Prime Day, Amazon is giving Prime members 15 PC games for free. The idea is to promote Prime Day, and to get people who enjoy video games to sign up for the service (which gives out free PC games each month, just not usually this many). This batch of games includes standouts like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Hitman Absolution, KOTOR 2, and more.
Prime members can redeem the games here. If you're not a Prime member, you can sign up now, even just for a month, to get all these games at no extra charge.
News of the PC game giveaway came right after Amazon officially announced the dates for Prime Day, a huge sale event that runs July 16 and 17, 2024. The online retailer’s mega-sale will offer its usual Black Friday-level discounts on nearly all categories of items.
Without further ado, let’s look at the full list.
Prime Day: Full List of Free PC Games
- Deceive Inc. (available now)
- Tearstone: Thieves of the Heart (available now)
- The Invisible Hand (available now)
- Call of Juarez (available now)
- Forager (June 27)
- Card Shark (June 27)
- Heaven Dust 2 (June 27)
- Soulstice (June 27)
- Wall World (July 3)
- Hitman Absolution (July 3)
- Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (July 3)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (July 11)
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords (July 11)
- Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (July 11)
- Samurai Bringer (July 11)
As you can see, some of the games are available now, while others will roll out on specific dates between now and July 11. It’s also worth noting that you have to redeem these games at specific online storefronts, like GOG, Epic Games Store, and more. I suspect that has to do with what deals and promotions Amazon was able to make to secure the games.
The only requirement to downloading the games is that you need to be a Prime member. That’s also going to be a requirement to take advantage of the Prime Day discounts once the sale begins on July 16. If you sign up now, even just for a month, you’ll be able to get all the games listed above, plus access to every Prime Day deal during the sale event.
You can read more about the games in Amazon’s blog post about the promotion.
